あらすじ

　ロンドンで、歌手を目指すケイト。男の家を転々としている。　何故なら、家に帰りたくないから。ケイトは、以前、心臓の手術をしていて、母が過干渉であるから。　

　家に帰りたくなく、バイト先と男の家や親友の家を転々とする日々。時にオーディションに行く。バイト先は、中国人が経営しているクリスマスショップ。年中、クリスマス気分を味わえるショップだが、そのゴチャゴチャの配色に‘趣味が悪い’とも思っているケイト。　いつも、バイト先にスーツケースを置かせてもらい、フルタイムで働く。緑のサンタの格好は、‘エルフ’と呼ばれる店員の格好をしているケイト。女店主の事は、サンタと呼んでいる。

　ショップでバイトしていると、青年が通りかかる。どんな時でも「上を見て」と励ましてくれる青年トム。　いつもは、ケイトとすぐ寝る展開になるのに何も起きないなと思っているが、ケイトも次第にトムの心に惹かれていく…。

感想

　本当に、ケイトがビッチみたい感じだが、若くて可愛いならもう、其れはそうなっちゃうよね。だけど、トムが誠実すぎて、なんで？最後まで！？？恋愛展開にならない？くっ付かないの？と思わずにはいられない。結局は、こう言うことか？と、最後に分かった時には、号泣だ。涙が止まらない。トムの「上を見て」と言った意味。　ケイトの家族がケイトを心配し、聖人君主の様なトムに惹かれ、段々、ケイトも聖人の様になっていく。

　こんなに、こんなに、ケイトが変われたのは、トムと言うキッカケがあり、自分の家族との仲すらも、回復していく。そして、トムに感謝こそすれ、愛情を抱くのは当然なのに…トムと結ばれない。　永遠に結ばれる事がない2人に見えて、永遠に一緒にいる。トムが「僕の心は君のものだ」と言った意味が、ようやく解る。

　タネ明かしを最後にする物語は、昔からある。だけど、このラストクリスマスは、伏線など無かった様に、上手く、伏線を使う。　こう言う優しい物語は、必要だ。　あまりなぜか話題にならなかった様に思うが、クリスマスには、カップルがこぞって見た映画。映画館スタッフしていたので、断言出来る。

　私が、映画館で見たら、ボロ泣き確実だったので、やはりレンタルでも良かったのかもしれないとも思った。　DVDにて映像特典で他の始まりかた・終わりかたをカットしたものとしてたけど、確かにこの始まりも終わりもコレで良かったと思う。　あと、ワム！の音楽も素敵でした。星5。

STORY

Kate really feels like a bitch, but if you’re young and cute, that’s going to happen. But why is Tom too honest? To the last! ? ? I can’t help thinking. After all, do you say this? When I finally found out, I cried. I can’t stop crying. Meaning that Tom “looks up”. Kate’s family was worried about Kate and was attracted to Tom like the saint monarch, and Kate gradually became like a saint. The reason Kate changed so much was that there was a kick called Tom, and even her relationship with her family recovered. And, thanks to Tom, it’s natural to have affection … I can’t connect with Tom. Look like two people who are never tied together and stay together forever. I finally understand the meaning that Tom said, “My heart is yours.” The story that ends the seed reveals has been around for a long time. However, this last Christmas works well, as if there were no hints.　　A gentle story like this is necessary. I don’t think it was talked about for some reason, but at Christmas, the movie that couples watched together. When I saw it at the movie theater, I was sure to cry, so I thought it might have been nice to rent it. It was supposed to have cut off the other beginning and ending with the image privilege on the DVD, but I think that this beginning and end were certainly good. Also, wham! The music of was also wonderful. Star 5.
