2022年アメリカ映画。日本では未公開作品。SNS…主にTwitterで話題になったのは映画“Smile”のキャンペーンで野球場で笑う女が居た…と言うプロモーションが流れた。大きく話題になり、見る観客を圧倒され、日本でも公開をホラーファンは楽しみにしてたんじゃないかと思う。
だが、日本では配給が付かなかったのだろう。今年2023年4月7日にiTunesで配信。その後は色々で配信中！リンクはブログ下に載せますね。終わりかたが…セイントモードと似てるのでは？と言う感想でもう…！では、早速、あらすじ・感想を書いていこう。
2022年アメリカホラー映画『Smileスマイル』あらすじ
精神病院、精神科医のローズ(ソシー・ベーコン)は患者に症状聞く。患者の男カールは「お前も死ぬ、俺も死ぬお前の家族も死ぬ…皆死ぬ」と話す。 ローズは次の女性の患者の話しを聞く。 ローラ(ケイトリン・ステイシー)は“見えないモノが見える”と話す。
何かに怯え「来ないで！」取り乱す。ローラは叫び、ローズは落ち着かせようと話しをするが…ローラは叫び終えると笑顔になり…呆然とする。かと思った瞬間に、豹変したかのように自分の首元を刺し絶命する。
ローズは院内の電話で慌てて電話…。助けを求めるが、ローラは“何か”が見えたと言い残し既に息絶えていた。 ローズは刑事に事情聴取をされる。刑事の1人はローズの元恋人ジョエル（カイル・ガルナー）。 亡くなったローズは“気が狂って居た”で済まされる。
ローズは色んな患者を診てきて“狂っていて自死した”のは納得がいかないが、帰宅。婚約者のトレバー（ジェシー・T・アッシャー）も心配するが、解決に至らない。自死したローズの笑顔も忘れられず、かなりの連勤にもより過労していた。 悪夢も見てしまう。
実の姉ホーリー（ジリアン・レイサー）とその夫グレッグ（ニック・アラポグルーより)）との食事会もあったが不快な態度を取ってしまう。
過労を指摘されたたものの心身衰弱なまま勤務を続けつつ、姉のホーリーに謝罪をするが窓の外にローラが見えた。 そのまま勤務してもカールが笑顔をしまた、『お前も死ぬ』と暴れる。自宅では誰も居ないのに警報ブザーが鳴り、飼い猫が居なくなる。度々、死んだはずのローラが見えた気がする。
仕事を休めと病院側に言われたり自分も休んでもローラの影を見て休み切れないローズだが、姉の息子の誕生日パーティーに行くローズ。お洒落もし、大きなプレゼントを息子に渡し側から見るとリラックス出来ているが…。
息子が誕生日プレゼントの箱を開けると、ローズの飼い猫の遺体が出てくる。驚く周囲、姉のホーリー夫妻も距離を取り、ローズは何かの間違いだと説明する様に喚くが誰も信じない…。この騒ぎの中の群衆にローラを見た気がし慄くローズは、躓きガラステーブルにダイブしてしまう！
大怪我を負ったローズだが、彼氏のトレバーにも距離を取られ険悪なムードに。
仕事を休んでるのだがローラの呪いのような幻を解決しようと、ローラとの診察の録音を聞くと所々、謎の音…呼吸が聞こえていた。 謎を解くべく、ローラが見たと言う教授をジャーナリストと称して訪ねる事に。
その教授の自宅では笑顔の絵がたくさんあった。 教授の妻は亡くなる前に‘自死した人を見た’とも話していた。それ以来、夫が幻影が見えるとおかしくなったようだとも。
ローズはこの奇妙な現象を元刑事のジョエルに依頼し、解こうとする。単独捜査していたローズに協力する事になるジョエル。 教授が見たアンナと言う女性も誰かの自殺を見た…と。その映像まで残っており、それを解決の糸口に進もうと帰宅。
ローズが家に帰るとトレバーがいてカウンセラーを勝手に呼んでいた。すれ違う2人。
姉ホーリーを訪ね、息子へのプレゼントの件の誤解を解こうとするが聞かない。心配する気持ちがあるがローズは今までの自分の“言動は何かおかしい連鎖によるものだった”と証拠写真(グロい亡くなった人の写真)を持って説明するローズに拒否を示す。
ホーリーから拒絶され車に戻るローズを息子も窓から見ていた。ローズは車の中で嘆いていると…首の折れたホーリーが車にぶつかってきた！悲鳴をあげハッとするローズは、コレがまた幻覚だと気付く。
まだ悪魔も見るまま、ジョエルの調べで笑顔を見たが生き残っている唯一の人物ロバート（ロブ・モーガン）に会いに、収容されている刑務所を訪ねる。 ローズの説得により伝染を止める方法を精神科の医師として訊ねているローズに「移った人は誰かを殺す事、残忍な方法で」と教える。
熱心に聞いてくるローズは「人を殺すなど出来る筈が無い」と伝えると“移った”のはローズだと気付き発狂するロバート。面会は強制終了に。
“伝染した何か”を知り、また‘自死するか他殺するか’で感染が止めれる事も知り、ローズは以前訪ねてきたカウンセラー マデリーン(ロビン・ワイガート）にカウンセリングを受ける事に。ただ、会話の途中で彼女を名乗る人物から電話があり、目の前のマデリーンが“ソレ”だと知り気絶。
ローズはずっとあの日から心身衰弱のまま、病院に向かう…。包丁を手にして。カールならヤっても良いと思い彼の元に近付くが…。 負の連鎖は止められるのか？不気味なスマイルは終わるのか………？！
2022年アメリカホラー映画『Smileスマイル』ネタバレ感想
何と言ったら良いか。終わりかたがもう…3流では？最後まで“Smile”は何だったのか？感染源は明かされず、悪魔でも幻想を見る精神病の感染でも無い。
正体は“怪物”と言うオチと最後のクライマックスで燃えるのを見てたら最近見た“セイント・モード”を思いださざる負えなかった。…と言うか、燃えるオチ同じじゃん！と。え、セイントモードをリスペクトでもしてるの？
まぁソレよりも怪物って何…このまま幻覚で良かったのに。形付けないと面白くなかったのかなぁ？え、何アレ…怪物て。
所々の幻覚は怖い…。Smileも怖い。オチまでの何で幻覚が見えるのか判らないドキドキは何だったのか。怖かった、怖かったよ最初は…。あと猫死んだり(人形だろうけど)その直後のローズのガラステーブルにダイブのシーンはかなり痛いし首がもげた姉も。
けどね、映画“グエムル”もだけど最後の最後に化け物の姿出したら怖さも半減するし呆れるし、化け物なんてエイリアンや近年の映画なら“クワイエットプレイス”の化け物の容姿でお腹いっぱいです。 どんなスゴい造形でも人間のSmileの不気味さに勝てません。
カールを刺す幻覚も読めちゃったけどまさか、実家の廃墟に向かって原点回帰みたいに何でなるの？とは思ったが、姉と母の世話についての話しもあったしそこら辺に原因があるのかと思ったけど違う。 多分、ある種の強迫観念がより幻覚を強固に見せる現れとして“実家に行く”と言う選択肢になったのかも。
家の中で起きたと思ったらソトに居た全て幻のオチかと残り数十分でどう終わるのー？と思ったら、カールを刺しに寄った病院で警備員が気付いて通報…そのタイミングで元恋人であり刑事のジョエルがローズに追いつき実家で発見するものの！
ローズには最期‘視えて’いた結局、怪物が自分の中に入ってくるー！その絵面も怪物が最悪だったけどジョエルは“ソレ”を結局見える事なく…ローズは灯油を撒き、浴びて火をつけ死ぬ…ここでもう、人間炎上セイントモーーーーード！w同じオチーーーー！と思う。
そんな事よりも、コレ、ジョエルが見ちゃって…“Smile”が連鎖していくと言うオチ。えぇぇぇぇ！解決してないぃぃぃぃぃ。そして、“続く”のか？負の連鎖は続く！ あぁー！怖いと言うより呆れまくった。そんなに面白く無いね！オチぃ！と言う感想でした。
飼い猫の遺体を贈られた坊やはローズオバさんを遠く(家の窓)から見てたけどあの息子は、トラウマになってるよね！と言うのも感想です。 まぁ、日本の劇場でやらず配信で良かったかもね。このオチ。 あ、でも配信てレイティングどうなってるんだろう？年齢制限無し？
(配信の年齢制限あるものはアカウント作る時に入れる年齢なのかも。あんまり年齢制限ある配信を見ず、個人的にはレンタルする事が多いかな)
何でホラーって日本公開難しいんだろう…。ホラーカフェとかやったらウケるのに。ホラーってあまり配給付かないのかなぁ…。

At a mental hospital, psychiatrist Rose (Sothie Bacon) asks patients about their symptoms. The patient’s man, Carl, says, “You will die, I will die, your family will die… we will all die.” Rose listens to the next female patient. Laura (Caitlin Stacey) says, “I can see the invisible.”
Frightened by something, “Don’t come!” Laura screams and Rose talks to try to calm her down… Laura finishes screaming and smiles… dazed. At the moment I thought that, I stabbed myself in the neck and died.
Rose hurriedly called on the phone in the hospital… He asks for help, but Laura has already passed away, saying that she saw “something”. “Rose is questioned by a detective.” One of the detectives is Rose’s ex-girlfriend, Joel (Kyle Gallner). The deceased Rose is dismissed as “crazy”.
Rose is unconvinced that she was “crazy and committed suicide” after seeing many patients, but she goes home. Her fiancée, Trevor (Jesse T. Usher), is also concerned, but nothing comes of it. I couldn’t forget the smile of Rose, who died by suicide, and I was overworked from working a lot. “I also have nightmares.”

Rose asks Joel, a former detective, to solve this strange phenomenon. Joel ends up cooperating with Rose, who was investigating alone. The woman named Anna that the professor saw also saw someone committing suicide… Even the video remains, and I go home to try to find a clue to solving it.
When Rose gets home, Trevor is there and calls the counselor without permission. Two people passing each other.
She visits her older sister Holly and tries to clear up the misunderstanding about the gift for her son, but she won’t listen. There is a feeling of worry, but Rose shows refusal to Rose, who explains with evidence photos (photographs of the grotesque deceased) that her behavior up until now was due to some strange chain.
Her son was watching Rose from the window as she returned to the car after being rejected by Holly. Rose is crying in her car when Holly, who has a broken neck, is hit by a car! Rose screams and realizes that this is another hallucination.
Still seeing the devil, he visits the prison where he is being held to meet Robert (Rob Morgan), the only person who survived after seeing a smile in Joel’s investigation. As a psychiatrist, he asks Rose, who is persuaded by Rose, how to stop the infection.
Rose, who listens intently, tells Robert, “There’s no way you can kill someone.” The meeting was forcibly terminated.
Knowing that “something was contagious” and that the infection can be stopped by “suicide or murder”, Rose decided to receive counseling from a counselor Madeline (Robin Weigert) who had visited before. However, in the middle of the conversation, she receives a phone call from a person who claims to be her, and she faints when she learns that Madeline in front of her is “Sole”.
Ever since that day, Rose has been mentally and physically weak and heads to the hospital. with a knife in hand. I think it’s okay if it’s Carl, so I approach him, but… “Can the chain of negativity be stopped?” Will the eerie smile end…? !

What should I say? The way it ends is already… 3rd class? What was “Smile” until the end? The source of the infection is not revealed, and it is not a demon or an illusionary psychopathic infection.
I couldn’t help but remember the “Saint Mode” I saw recently when I saw the burning at the last climax with the punch line that the true identity is “monster”. … or rather, it’s the same as the punch line that burns! and. Eh, do you respect Saint Mode?
Well, what is a monster rather than that… I’m glad I’m hallucinating like this. I wonder if it wasn’t fun without shaping it? Eh, what is that… a monster.
Hallucinations here and there are scary… Smile is also scary. What was the excitement that I didn’t know why I could see hallucinations up to the punchline? I was scared, I was scared at first… Also, the cat died (maybe a doll), and the scene of diving into Rose’s glass table right after that was quite painful, and my sister lost her neck.
However, in the movie “Guemuru”, if a monster appears at the very end, the fear will be halved and you will be amazed. “No matter how great the modeling is, it can’t beat the eerieness of a human Smile.”
I could read the hallucination of stabbing Karl, but no way, what is going on like going back to the origins towards the ruins of my parents’ house? That’s what I thought, but there was also a talk about taking care of my sister and mother, so I thought there might be a cause around here, but it’s not. Perhaps, a certain kind of obsession became the option of “going to my parents’ house” as a manifestation that made the hallucinations appear stronger.
If you think it happened in the house, how will it end with only a few minutes left, as everything in Soto is a phantom punchline? Just when I thought that, a security guard at the hospital stopped by to stab Carl and called him… At that time, his ex-lover, detective Joel, caught up with Rose and found her at her parents’ house!
In the end, the monster that was ‘seen’ by Rose finally entered into her! The monster was the worst thing in the picture, but Joel couldn’t see “that” in the end… Rose sprinkled kerosene, bathed in it, set it on fire, and died… Here, human beings are already in flames, Saint Mode! w Same Ochi! I think.
Rather than that, Joel saw this… “Smile” chained together. Eeeeeee! It’s not resolved. And “continue”? The chain of negativity continues! “Ah!” Rather than being scared, I was stunned. Not so funny! Punch! It was an impression to say.
The boy who received the corpse of his pet cat was looking at Rose-Oba-san from afar (from the window of the house), but that son must have been traumatized! It is also an impression to say.
Why is it so difficult to publish horror in Japan? It would be fun to do something like a horror cafe. I wonder if horror doesn’t pay much…
